As OBS trucks age, electrical gremlins become common. The most common culprit is corroded ground connections. Clean every ground point on the firewall, frame, and engine block. The bulkhead connector where engine bay meets dash harness is prone to corrosion. Instrument cluster circuit boards develop cracks. Power window failures usually trace to worn switches or damaged door jamb wiring. The multi-function switch is another common failure point. A quality wiring diagram from the factory service manual is essential.
